Today pris and I went down to join the J1s at training. Applaud us for our courage, tenacity and enthusiasm please! Training was... very exciting, fun, awesome, enjoyable, slightly nostalgic but nevertheless WONDERFUL. So we should ALL go down on Thursday to experience these truly amazing feelings.

Don't worry, it is not at all painful, exhuasting, hot, treacherous, on-the-verge-of-muscle-cramping-or-death-from-lack-of-breath at all!!!!!! :) Loved every minute of it.

Can't wait to see everyone on Thursday then!

M1 just ended today and I think we've all done a very good job. Well done everybody!! Plate Runners-up is quite a commendable feat considering how we were nothing at the first M1! And i'm so glad we all played wholeheartedly and we even managed to beat a lot of teams we haven't been able to beat recently. We've come so far together as a team since j1 and I think i'm really really gonna miss our trainings and all the fun we always have together as we start winding down after this.

But anyways, all of our trainings and successes couldn't have come without the leadership of our very awesome captains, Fifi and Min Min! WE LOVE YOU !!
Thanks for always coming down to support the team although the both of you couldnt train or play for the past few weeks. I think it was always comforting and encouraging to know that both of you were around for us, organizing us and always motivating us. :D you guys are the best!!!!!!

hey gals, hahaha so rare for me to blog so much.

anyways, today's training was a meaningful one. although many of us couldnt make it due to other commitments, but it's ok, i'll just type what i've learnt. (:

yup, i just realised (after derelyn mentioned it) that touch rugby and rugby are probably the only sports that require the players to be there for one another. take basketball or soccer, it's just i pass to you, you pass to me. in touch rug, it's different. we cant do anything without each other. if i dump the ball, and no one's there to take it, the game cant go on. it got me thinking of how important each one of us is to the team. without any of you, the team cannot play on on the field. that's why we always shout "dump for me, dump for me" or "split for me". touch rug is a game that we can never play for ourselves, but for the 5 other people on the field with us. yea, maybe we are a team that doesnt necessarily hang out together all the time, and sometimes one may wonder if i really care for my teammates, or if my teammates really cares about me. others use words like "i'll be there for you" or "i'll be here" but sometimes these lines have been so overused that they are diluted of their original meaning. i don't need you guys to tell me all these, because when i'm on the field, it shows. everytime someone says "i'm your dummy, i'm your dummy" i know that my teammate's got my back. i know that you're playing for me, i know that you'll pick up the ball for me and let the game play on. i can put the ball down on the ground because i know that there's 5 other people who will watch out for me.

i dont know if you guys feel the same way, but i hope that each and everyone of us truggies will get to experience the feeling of playing for one another. (: it's great to know that your team's always behind ya supporting u, and it's good to know that you can realistically do something for someone.

I have decided to blog, so that we don't have to see all the unglam photos of us at the top hahaha. I must say Yijun looks super funny lah, her expression is :O so GOOD JOB WEISHAN! Haha but what the hell I don't like my unglam photos thank you very much. Oh yeah talking about unglam, the photos posted on the touchrug board all damn unglam also!!! Zomg I vow to bring my cam for the next comp and take super duper nice photos of all of us and showcase it to everybody!

Hello people, BubbleBong is blogging (for the first time!)

pardon the lagness(like angel) but i would like to say that the camp was really great! i personally don't really love camps, so if i had enjoyed touchcamp, it must have been really quite wonderful. thank you each and everyone of you for being part of this very memorable experience. i really love the company for those 2 days.

you know people used to ask me what cca i'll join in JC. i usually reply 'a team sport' but never really thought about how it would be like. my previous cca (t&f) was quite individualistic.. you slack, you die! very simple. in touchrug, when you play like kdgjd, it somehow affects the team's overall performance i think. so, to me, it is a very hard and stressful game that requires alot alot of communication and teamwork(which i am still not very used to yet) but you people have been very encouraging and supportive all these while, giving me constructive comments etcetc so i must say XIE XIE, THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

yay let's continue to improve and WOW people :D

Okay this is a bit lag (okay fine lah not a bit, it's more like VERY lag haha), but thank you exco for planning the June camp for us! I appreciate all the hard work you guys put in! Oh yes I liked the write-notes-on-paper-stuck-on-our-backs thing! It was awesome! The games you guys planned for us were really fun too! Although THE PERSON WHO CAME UP WITH THE HA HAHA HAHAHA HAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHA .. etc GAME IS SUPER BIAS AGAINST ME LAH WTH!! I laugh damn a lot, so it's totally bias against me hrmphs. But guess what! I actually controlled until my group did 23 "Ha"s and I just couldn't take it anymore haha. hope you guys enjoyed camp, really. even though you were woken up in the most annoying method possible this morning.(x hehehe.

i thought the whole thing ended quite abruptly, actually, and i was feeling kinda sad... =( i mean, i was clearing up after nearly everyone had left & i was just looking at the clean, empty room and it was as if you guys were never there, that it was all a good dream that'd just shut down on me all of a sudden. yeah it was kinda strange. maybe it was the absence of fun team games to wrap up. everyone was too tired i guess. =( and there was no time. oh well.

gotta love the writing on the back thing, right. i think it did miles for all of us. finally gives you the chance to tell people what they mean to you without appearing random or cheesy, and quite uplifting for yourself, too, in reception of others' notes...

you know, i joined rj touch initially just for personal purposes, to learn a new sport, to have fun, to maintain some sort of fitness thru my jc life. i have to admit i couldnt really care much for the emotional and spiritty and teamy aspect then... well, because. i didnt believe i would ever put another team as close to my heart as my old team in scgs. was sure i wouldnt find one. we were so tight. in sec 3 when i was forced to part with them for rgs i cried nearly every night till june.
but i guess i am about to be corrected. i was looking at all of you these two days... laughing at your jokes, whining about you not laughing at mine... openly sharing and receiving feedback on each others' gameplay, talking tactics... and thinking hey, this feels kinda good. today when we played... we played for each other.. (as min pointed out).. and it felt reallyreally nice. i felt like i was doing this for you and you were doing this for me, and the old team-spirit lovey feeling that i'd put away for 2 years resurfaced and it was such a strange thing for me, really, at first... hmmm.

okay amagah errmm. im being longwinded AND cheesysoppy. but it just means alot to me, i guess. tho the camp wasnt as team-bonding-oriented as we'dve liked it to be, it hit me hard lah i guess. just a personal thing. that i thought i'd be a sod and open up and share.

=)

basically. the camp taught me that i love you all. \= yeah. there, i said it. (x that was the key thing i took back. and im now more excited about us than i ever thought i would be. lets cherish this '07 and '08 that we have together, 'cause we're gonna rock each others' lives =) and before we know it, the music will be over.

AMAGAH. im so heartened by all our analysis of gameplay and stuff =) yaaayyyy I FEEL THE OOMPH and im so proud to be part of this awzummteam. <33

well.. that day i went away feeling quite crappo, cos tho we beat them... it was a little bleakish and disappointing.. espesh my personal reflection lah. for me, its my own kanchiongness and my lack of clear-headedness during games that made me quite pissed at myself... raar rarr. even made one of my passes (TO YAYA x( SORRY WASABI.) go totally off. somewhat like khai's classic example of THE SHITTY PASS. (x BUT we all learnn!! and i hope i do\=
in general i thought i'd just add something... esp for my team.. that we were too anxious to TRY DO THINGS.. and we tried doing things too early (not enough ground gained yet), or were too slow in executing them... like for example we did quite a few unsuccesful splits, like they managed to drift to us and defend our wing&link even before we could split into the gap... and also when we tried like looping and stuff the same thing happened. this slow-ness i guess can also be attributed to the new-ness of doing such things DURING a game itself, & so coupled with the panicky factor we are more blur than we usually are, so the blurblurness kinda slowed everything down. this is encouraging cos we KNOW that MORE TRAINING and FOCUS will do the trickkk!!

about our shirt! =D lets all just design random things now and then and bring them to training! maybe someone can collate all the drawings & one final day we will all get round them and pick and choose! in the meantime we can just post ideas here as well =D haha yay! i think mud coloured is CUTE! like khaki-brown-ish. or goldish! =P but mud coloured DRI FIT!?!! Rawr anyway, I shall reflect on yesterday's games now, so that we can remember what went wrong and work on it to improve! Okay fine I think it's more of for my benefit, cos I quite like noting down what to improve on. Hm but since we have a touchrug blog and all, I shall blog here instead of at my own blog!

I think all in all, we played pretty okay. But oh no, I really think that we should work on our passes to minimise drop balls during games, because drop ball = change of possession = defence / back-five (WASTE ENERGY!!!) = not good = we sad = lose hope and no heart to play cos we're sad = drop more balls because we will now anyhow play and anyhow pass ball = change of possession = defence / back-five ... you get the drift. Haha fine that was a fallacy. Shit but I can't seem to remember what the fallacy is called. Darnnnn, wasted so much time at philo lessons without absorbing anything. Okay fine back to the topic, (hahaha I think I ramble and get distracted a lot): passes. Mm I heard that our passing is really quite bad, so we must work on it together okay!!

Next up, defence! We definately need to work on our line-defence thing, cos sometimes we tend to shoot up / fly (haha to be honest I only learnt that shooting up was called fly yesterday, sorry I'm slow), and if the opponents step us, she'll be stepping all the way. This was done yesterday by the damn pro steppy/stepy/step-py (Stepy?! Steppy?! Step-py?! How to spell ah?!?!?!) girl, and she side-stepped about 4/5 of us :/ Yesyes, so shall work on maintaining our line-defence, because I know for my team we started off with line-defence and then it eventually became .. fly-defence. Shit do you call it fly-defence?! I realise that I'm happily coining my own terms as I type -.-

For attack, we should try to be less kanchiong! Okay that kindof applies greatly to me, cos I get quite kanchiong sometimes. Oh yes and, we should aim to do team tries! Aiyoh I am damn damn guilty of being individualistic, sorry I will try to change this bad habit!! Anyway, we should try switches or loops or splits or whatever we have learnt during training, and apply it during game situations. Haha I know we had attempts, so, nice try nice try people! ((:

Oh yes, and I think our running and stuff was pretty good, considering how super gross the field was! Yucks my socks became brown and I couldn't save them, so I threw them away ): Damn disgusting lah!!

So, being the angel that I am (Ha. Ha. Pun intended : D), I shall provide you guys with a step-by-step guide to blogging!

1) Open internet explorer, and type http://blogger.com. (People like Shiya didn't know this -.-)
2) You will find yourself at blogger's homepage. If you have gmail, your username would be your gmail and your password would be your gmail password. So for example, my username would be phoenixangelpower@gmail.com and my password would be .. my password would be .. would be .. erh .. ***********. (Of course, I wouldn't be stupid enough to post my whole password to the whole world, would I?)
3) If you had typed in your username and password and nothing seems to be happening (and you find yourself like an idiot staring at a computer screen waiting for absolutely nothing), please check that you have clicked "SIGN IN". Only then, would something actually happen.
4) Now, you should find yourself redirected to your "dashboard". If you don't find yourself at your dashboard, there are a few reasons why this is so: (a) You probably didn't click "SIGN IN", (b) You probably tried signing in with my username (aka phoenixangelpower@gmail.com) and tried guessing my password, but failed (HA. HA. NICE TRY!), (c) You probably forgot your username OR your password OR both your username and password.
